Quarterly University Initiative for Laar’s Legacy (QUILL) is a multidisciplinary student emagazine published by the Department of English Language and Literature (DELL), University of Sindh, Laar Campus, Badin.
QUILL is a student-focused e-magazine, aiming to foster critical and creative contributions from diverse academic and artistic perspectives. It provides students with a platform to showcase their original works, comprising empirical and non-empirical studies, critical views and analysis, explorations of global issues, and creative expressions, offering a space where diverse fields of knowledge and artistic expression intersect.
Scope of Submissions
Submissions may include (but are not limited to):
Empirical Studies: Social Sciences, ELT, Linguistics, History, and Gender Studies
Non-Empirical Studies: Critical Analysis of National and Global Creative Literature, Book Reviews, Pakistani Literature in English, Travelogues, and Documentaries
Articles: Exploring Pressing National and Global Issues and Current Affairs, Such as Climate Change, Social Injustice, Digital Humanities, Identity, Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity
Creative Works: Including Poetry & Short Stories
Submission Guidelines
Format: Microsoft Word (.docx), double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, with 1-inch margins.
Length: Articles 3,000–6,000 words. Creative pieces: Under 3,000 words.
Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
Plagiarism: All submissions will undergo plagiarism checks.
