The Centre for Environmental Sciences educates visionary, pragmatic leaders in a collaborative interdisciplinary setting that is founded on academic excellence and the principles of environmental justice and sustainability.

To develop human resources by imparting quality education in all fields of science, arts, and technology also to develop a body of teachers and taught who would be aware and proud of their culture and possess a high sense of honor and integrity and work with selfless dedication, commitment, and responsibility towards society to contribute to the prosperity of people and peace and harmony. We train effective local, and national environmental leaders working to create a sustainable society that embodies respect and care for the community of life, ecological integrity, social and economic justice, democracy, nonviolence, and peace. This vision inspires us to achieve excellence in our doctoral and master’s programs and collaborative community service.
