Welcome to the Pakistan Study Centre (PSC) University of Sindh Jamshoro.
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome the students and scholars to Pakistan Study Centre, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Education has become the key driving force for socio-economic development in the globalized world. To make progress and survive competitively, we need to increase investment significantly in human resources at the higher education level so that they can play a vital role in the development of a knowledge-based economy in the highly competitive global environment.

Pakistan Study Centre, University of Sindh is established under the Act of Parliament 1976. The Centre is engaged in the study of languages, literatures, social structures, customs, attitudes and motivation of people of various regions of Pakistan. The Centre (PSC) currently offers the BS, MA, M Phil and PhD degree courses in the discipline of Pakistan Studies.
Currently Pakistan Study Centre strives to improve its stature as an institution of broadly-based research. It has improved enormously mainly because of innovative ways of managing new change in teaching and research. The Centre is now firmly positioned within the higher education institutions of Pakistan which have shown strong commitment to knowledge dissemination through quality education, provision of high-quality courses to cohorts of students wishing to expand their skills at various levels.

I would like to encourage you to join us in our journey to academic and research excellence. On the basis of our track record of outstanding education, quality research and excellent campus services, I am confident that our students will be able to learn new knowledge, develop new skills to become exceptional leaders.
