Technology Incubation Center
Technology Incubation Center (TIC) has been established at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Sindh. The purpose of TIC is to create startups and foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship among students. With proper guidance and mentorship, engineering students can be proven to be great entrepreneurs and make a huge difference when surrounded by the right resources.
The Objectives of TIC are summarized as:
1 Promotion of Entrepreneurship/self-employment among youth
2 Commercialization of viable research stemming from the University
3 Closer linkages between industry and academia
4 Contribute to economic growth by employment generation and creation of small and medium start-up companies.
National Incubation Center
National Incubation Center is a Pakistan-based startup incubation program under a public-private partnership with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, and other entities in Pakistan including the Ignite National Technology Fund. National Incubation Center is established at the Sindh University campus in Hyderabad. NIC was created to change the face of entrepreneurship in Sindh. The Facility will incubate technology-enabled startups from a variety of industries including, education, agriculture, commerce, waste disposal and robotics.
