I welcome you in the Department of Media & Communication Studies. Here you will find qualified faculty members who are dedicated to teach you media practice and research.
Our state-of-the-art syllabus is equipped with up-to-date course such as Mobile Journalism, Online Journalism, Social Media etc. These courses are aimed at keeping budding communicators abreast of newly emerging challenges of objectivity and ethics in the field of media. We also teach new trends in media with special reference to Pakistani media.

Our objective is to prepare well-trained journalists who perform their role of news workers with social responsibility. As you see with exponential growth of technology in every field, media is not an exception in this context. Therefore, we always work hard to acquaint our students with those technological challenges.

Here, you will also find the opportunities of working as a reporter and content contributors in our two regular publications: Weekly “Roshni” newspaper and monthly “Shaoor” magazine. Moreover, you will be part also in the part of Video content production.
