INTRODUCTION

The Students’ Financial Aid Office (SFAO) was established in the
University of Sindh in 2013.
·????????
The SFAO has a motto that no student should leave the University
without a degree just because of the Financial Crisis.
- ?Consequently,
University of Sindh has established a separate “Students Financial Aid
Office” to support the meritorious needy students by financial support
with the help of the Higher Education Commission, government scholarships
and other donor agencies.
- At present, the Students’ Financial Aid Office
(SFAO) exists in the New Admin Block of the University and works in the
supervision of Prof Dr Mushtaque Ali Jariko under the patronage of Prof.
(Meritorious) Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Vice-Chancellor, who believes
that the youth must not be deprived of higher education due to financial
crises. Thus, the office handles the task at utmost priority.

support to needy and brilliant applicants.
•?????? To give eligible applicants
the opportunity to excel in different fields of life.
•?????? To enhance the public image of
the Institute.
•?????? To help qualified applicants
pursue their career goals and make their dreams come true.
•?????? To provide qualified
applicants a platform to build their future for themselves and their families.
Financial
Aid Office Objectives:

To help students in searching and applying for various scholarships;
and maintaining the merit and eligibility standards, if awarded with any
scholarship.

To provide proactive and responsive financial aid counseling.
•??????
To offer a variety of financial aid programs and services to help
students to achieve their educational ambitions smoothly.?

To encourage students to apply for external scholarships
Functions
of SFAO:
•?????? To provide financial relief to
the meritorious, needy students.
•?????? ?To provide quality services by addressing and
responding to students’ inquiries promptly.
•?????? ?To use effective procedures to ensure that the
funds are disbursed among the deserving students.
•?????? To comply with all prescribed
rules, regulations, and policies of the SFAO and scholarship programs, set by
the university and Donor Agencies respectively.
•?????? To render special favors to
disabled and orphan students.?
