All praise is due to Allah! The Institute of Languages (Arabic & Persian), University of Sindh, Jamshoro, has been devoted to the service of language and literature since its establishment in 1952. The institute was founded with the noble vision of preserving the rich linguistic, literary, and cultural heritage of the Arabic and Persian languages, and of nurturing a new generation guided by intellectual depth and moral excellence, illuminated by the light of knowledge and action.

Our institute offers high-quality programs in Arabic and Persian, including the BS (4-year), BS/MA (2-year), and the one-year Oriental Teachers Course (OTC). These programs are carefully designed to help students master the language while gaining a profound understanding of the Qur’an and Sunnah, classical literature, intellectual history, civilization, and the demands of the modern academic world.

We strive to produce graduates who are not only competent teachers, translators, and researchers, but also ambassadors of Islamic culture and Eastern scholarship across the globe.
