I have the privilege of being the Chairman of the Department of Electronic Engineering. The department has been offering degrees since 1979 and has always remained a vital gateway for the youth of Sindh to enter one of the fundamental fields of Engineering and sciences.

Being one of the core fields of Engineering, Electronic Engineering offers a wider range of in-depth understanding of electronic equipment, circuits and devices. The discipline embodies designing, actualizing and running the cutting-edge devices which are much needed in society.

I, along with my Internationally and Nationally qualified faculty, are dedicated to impart basic and advanced education in the broader sphere of Electronic Engineering with a will to inspire the students to emulate a leading role in our society’s scientific frontier.

With the relentless efforts of our team, we have been able to gain accreditation from Pakistan Engineering Council in 2020 and since then the Department has been offering Engineering Degree in Electronics. With advanced Labs, the enrolled students are at ease to practice the theories and are subsequently recommended for internships on the Industry side.

Being part of one of the oldest and largest universities in Pakistan, the Department always welcomes young aspirants to pursue their academic ambitions in a conducive environment.
