The Institute of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering (IBGE) is one of the rapidly growing departments of University of Sindh which encompasses more than 600 students of Biotechnology and Genetics disciplines. We are well trained and diverse group of faculty and staff that facilitate your transition and growth through providing exceptional teaching, training and research in Biotechnology and Genetics within our classrooms, laboratories, and hands on trainings and internships.

We currently offer B.S., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programs in Biotechnology and Genetics. Our distinguished faculty are committed to providing modern knowledge and real world experience to the students with dedication that promote creative learning. In addition to teaching, we carry out collaborative research with other research groups within the University, other research institution of Pakistan and abroad.?
