DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY
The Department of Sociology was established on Hyderabad Campus in 1964 with
Prof. Shafi Mohammad Memon as its first chairman. The department was shifted to
Allama I.I Kazi campus Jamshoro in 1970.
This department has been imparting quality education. Courses have been designed
to equip students with professional skills and knowledge relevant to the changing
needs of society and many of the graduates of this department are currently holding
