CENTRE FOR PURE & APPLIED GEOLOGY

The Department of Geology was established in 1956 at Elsa Kazi Campus, Hyderabad and was shifted to Allama I.I. Kazi Campus, in June 1961, where it was temporarily lodged in the Chemistry Block. In 1971, it was shifted to its present premises which has since then been expanded and a new block along with an Auditorium added to it in 1992.
