Department of Commerce was established in the year 1963 at Old Campus, Hyderabad, was shifted to Allama I.I. Kazi Campus in 1970. It has been functioning in its new premises close to the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of the University, since 1999 and has been recently upgraded as Institute of Commerce.
