Teaching Assistants Required @ the Department of Comparative Religion & Islamic Culture, University of Sindh, Jamshoro

Applications are invited for the temporary/contract posts of Teaching Assistants in the Department of Comparative Religion & Islamic Culture (2 posts), University of Sindh, Jamshoro .

The applicants should possess First Class or 3.00 CGPA in BS (4 years)/Master’s degree in the relevant field, having Sixteen (16) years of education from any HEC recognized University and having no 3rd division / D grade in the academic career.

* Condition of no 3rd Division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as Teaching Assistant in University or Degree awading institution provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz. M.Phil/Ph.D or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.

* Furthermore, the candidate with 2nd division in the Master degree but holding higher degree i.e. M.Phil/Ph.D or equivalent degree with 18 years of education may be considered.

* It is necessary for any candidate who has degrees (Asnad) fom Madarsa should bring Equivalent Certificate from HEC or any recognize University/Institute, otherwise the candidate will not be considered eligible for the post of Teaching Assistant.

* Experience not required.

The candidates are required to submit their application on the prescribed application form (editable) given below with a coloured photograph (pasted on the form) in the office of the undersigned, latest by 16th August 2023 along with attested copies of the following documents.


  1. Certificates/testimonials
  2. Passport-sized photographs (02 copies)
  3. CNIC

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for written test/interviews. The University of Sindh reserves the right to cancel some or all the vacancies.
