About 

The University of Sindh, Dadu Campus was established in April 2010 in the pursuit of the visionary mission of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to provide quality higher education to the students living in the underserved and comparatively less developed areas of Sindh. The establishment of Campus was a significant step toward making university education accessible to the communities of Dadu and adjoining areas including Johi, Bhan, Moro and other adjoining areas.

Dadu Campus has developed into a major center of higher education in the region since its inception. The main objective has been to provide students, particularly those facing geographical and socio-economic barriers, the opportunity to pursue university education in their own region.

Over the years, the Campus has improved its academic capacity through the development of undergraduate programs, the recruitment of highly qualified PhD and MPhil faculty, and the improvement of teaching and learning facilities. It offers degree programs in Information Technology, Business Administration and English and thus offers students a variety of educational and career opportunities.

The Campus has also developed its academic infrastructure comprising multimedia equipped classrooms, a modern computer laboratory and a Seminar Library with more than 6,000 books. The Dadu–Moro and Dadu–Johi–Bhan routes have also transportation facilities to facilitate the access of students from nearby areas to higher education.

Dadu Campus has been improving its academic and institutional foundations recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC). The Campus is entering an important phase of expansion and transformation with a 52-acre campus site and ongoing construction and development.

Today, Dadu Campus is a symbol of the realization of the vision at its inception; of bringing quality higher education within the reach of the people of Dadu and surrounding areas. In line with its vision for the future, the Campus will: diversify its academic programs with market-oriented programs and new departments; strengthen its research, innovation, technology and community service.
Dadu Campus is thus a story of access, opportunity, academic growth and an ongoing commitment to the region’s educational development.
