Department of Psychological Testing And Guidance And Research

The department of Psychological Testing, Guidance & Research is located in the Faculty of Education—the heart of f Hyderabad city, which is one of the main urban center of Pakistan, in the main building of the Elsa Kazi Campus (Old Campus) of the University of Sindh, where at present, the Sindh University Press and Dr.N.A.Baloch Model School of the University of Sindh and Faculty of Education are also functioning. This is a beautiful building which is a unique monument of architecture worth seeing particularly during the night when it is illuminated with lights. The department was created as an independent teaching department of the University of Sindh following the re-organization of the Institute of Education and Research into a full fledged Faculty on July 1, 1987. This department was created to provide guidance and leadership role to the inquisitive researches; guidance counselor in the areas of educational research. The department offers courses and programme both at the graduate and the post graduate levels. The department, to its credit, completed a number of Research studies at the national and the international level.
