Since it’s founding in 1951, Faculty of Education, University of Sindh had been training Teachers, Leaders and Administrators of Education to transform Education in Pakistan by awarding Bachelor (B.Ed) and Masters (M.Ed) Degree in Education especially in Sindh. And, today again the University has the time to be arrogant; once again it has accepted the challenge of the moment and felt the responsibility of strengthen the standard of Education generally and teacher Education specially by producing the real and motivated educationalists in the field by introducing the B.A (Hons) and M.A (Education) degree programme for the students having the ambitious to join Education as their first choice right from their initial career i.e. after passing intermediate certificate. The graduate programs M.Phil/ Ph.D of the faculty are conducted through its components departments. Specifically the teacher education programs are designed to provide opportunities to in-service and would- be- teachers to accomplish mainly the following: To plan for instruction by formulating objectives in terms of student outcomes which are observable and measurable. To select and organize content appropriate to specified objectives in ways that are consistent with the logic of that content and the needs of the learners. To become competent in selecting and using those instructional materials, media and strategies that enable individual students to succeed in educational programs. To acquire skills in evaluating learning outcomes within an educational settings.
