In Continuation to this office Advertisement No.PD(H) 103/10 published in various Newspapers regarding Pre-qualification of contractors in University of Sindh, it is advised to all the bidders to purchase the Pre-qualification Documents (free of cost) from the office of the Project Director, University of Sindh, Jamshoro or see the web site of University of Sindh.

The last date of issue of Pre-qualification Documents is extended upto 31.05.2010. The documents will be opened on 31-05-2010 at 12:00 Noon.

The Contractor/Firm who have already sent their documents for Pre-Qualification are advised to re-apply through Pre-qualification Documents before last date.

The process of Pre-qualification will same as adopted by SPPRA vide rule No.28 (2010).

NOTICE INVITING PROPOSAL / BIDS FOR MEDICAL / HEALTH CARE FACILITIES

Sealed proposal / bids are invited from reputed Insurance Companies registered with income tax and sales department to provide medical / health facilities including hospitalization and treatment of all types of ailments to presently 3045 employees working in various Basic Pay Scales at University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Badin and their dependents who will co-share 20% of the cost of hospitalization.

The bidding Insurance Companies will have to deposit a Bid Security of Rs.100,000/- in the shape of Pay Order / Bank Draft in the name of University of Sindh along with the proposal. The Bid Security will be forfeited in case of non-compliance of tender conditions. 

The proposal should reach University of Sindh latest by 31.05.2010 upto 11.00 am, which will be opened the same day in the presence of company’s representative who wish to be present. Incomplete proposal and proposals received after due date will not be considered / entertained. University of Sindh reserves the right to accept, reject any or all offers in compliance to the relevant clause of Sindh Public Procurement Authority, Government of Sindh Rules.
