• Worked as Assistant Professor (on Deputation) Pakistan Study Center, University of Sindh, Jamshoro from April 1988 to October 1989.

• Also remained Assistant Editor, Bi-annual Research Journal "Grassroots", Pakistan Study Center, University of Sindh, Jamshoro for the period 1988-89.

• Worked as Assistant Professor, Department of General History, University of Sindh, Jamshoro from November 01, 1989 to January 05, 1990 (on deputation). And regularized as an Assistant Professor from January 06, 1990 to October 03, 1997.

• Worked as Associate Professor, Department of General History, University of Sindh, Jamshoro from October 04, 1997 to April 9, 2004.
