PRESS RELEASE

September 07: The following program (s) has been chalked out to celebrate the International Literacy Day to create awareness of the cause among the common citizens on Tuesday the 8th September, 2009.

1. A 'WALK' from Syed Panah Ali Shah Model School Jamshoro to Agha Taj Muhammad Park, Sindh University Colony Jamshoro at 12:00 Noon Sharp under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh along with all Deans Chairpersons, Faculty, Officers and Officials of the University of Sindh. 

2. The WALK will end at Agha Taj Muhammad Park where students of Model Schools will perform the tableau, the Dean, Faculty of Arts and Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh will deliver speeches related to theme the WORLD LITERACY DAY.

3. The Principal, students along with their  Teachers and BAND group of Dr. N. A. Baloch Model School, Elsa Kazi Campus, Hyderabad will arrange a walk from Model School to Press Club, Hyderabad at 1:00 p.m.

4. Selected students of the University under the banner of STAGS Teachers / head of various Departments / Institutions will come to Syed Panah Ali Shah Model School Jamshoro having banners and play cards with slogans related to 'WORLD LITERACY DAY'.

5. All teachers and employees of the University are also invited to join the walk at Syed Panah Ali Shah Model School Jamshoro.
