May 12: CIRCULAR: It is notified for information of all concerned that considering our request, the HESCO authorities have very kindly exempted the Sindh University Campus (Teaching Departments and other offices) from loadshedding by raising observations on wastage of power on account of over consumption and unnecessary lightings.

In this regard all the Deans of various faculties, the Directors/ Chairmen of various Institutes/Centres, Departments and Sectional Heads are hereby requested to strictly observe the following strategies and take these measures so as to save the energy :­

(i)             Avoid the usage of all unnecessary lightings and equipments.

(ii)            At the end of every class all the fans & lights of empty class rooms and laboratories be switched off.

(iii)            Energy Saver may be used Instead of Bulbs

(iv)          The lights of buildings (except few necessary lights required for security purpose) be switched off      after 9:00 p.m.

(v)           Instead of all lights in building only alternate light may be used during evening times.

              (vi)         Avoid the wastage of water because huge power is required for lifting / supply of the water from K.B.
