To
pay homage to late Allama I.I. Kazi, the former Vice-Chancellor,
University of Sindh, a great Scholar and Philosopher of Pakistan, the
University of Sindh in order to commemorate his 41st Death
Anniversary, has arranged "the Founder's Week Celebrations - 2009"
from Thursday, the 9th April, 2009 to Tuesday, the 14th April, 2009,
in a befitting manner.
The scheduled
programme is as under:-

DUA & TREE PLANTATION OF NEEM TREES
infront of he Jamia Masjid, Allama I.I. Kazi, Campus, University of
Sindh, Jamshoro, will be arranged at 8.00 a.m. by Prof. Dr. Imdad
Ali Brohi, Professor Incharge, Plantation, University of Sindh.
Mr. Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, Vice-Chancellor, University of Sindh will
inaugurate the ceremony. All the faculty members
/administrative officials and University students will participate
in the Tree Plantation Ceremony.
Hon'ble Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, Vice-Chancellor, University of Sindh,
will be the Chief Guest on the
occasion.

ARTS & CRAFT EXHIBITION
organized by the Teachers & Students of the Institute of Art &
Design, University of Sindh, will be arranged at the Benazir Art
Gallery, Institute of Art & Design, University of Sindh, Allama I.I.
Kazi, Campus, Jamshoro, with effect from 9th April to 13t" April,
2009 at 10.00 a.m. by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qasim Bughio, Dean,
Faculty of Arts, University of Sindh & Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Bhatti,
Director, Institute of Art &
Design, University of Sindh.
Hon'ble Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, Vice-Chancellor, University of Sindh,
will be the Chief Guest on the
occasion.

The Essay writing Competition in Sindhi
Language will be arranged by Director, Bureau of STAGES on 10th
April 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Bureau of STAGES Hall, University of
Sindh.

will distribute the prizes to the winners on 16.03.2009 at 12:00
Noon at the Senate Hall, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah Administration
Building, Allama I.I.
Kazi Campus, University of Sindh, Jamshoro.

A program "Quran-Khawani and
Eid-Millad-ui Nabi" will be arranged by the Incharge, Department of
Physiology/Dean, Faculty of Natural Sciences.
Hon'ble Mazharul Haq Siddiqui will preside over the occasion.
- A program of Speeches on "The
Life & Vision of Allama I.I. Kazi" in Sindhi, Urdu & English
will be organized by the Department of Statistics on 11th April
2009 at 10:30 a.m.
The Dean, Faculty of Natural Sciences will be the Chief Guest for the
above said occasion.

On Sunday, the 12th April, 2009.
A Debate competition on the Topic
of "Allama I.I. Kazi as a Educationist" will be organized
by the Department of Physiology on April 12, 2008.

On Monday, the 13th April,2009 at 9:00 a.m.

Quran Khawani, Fateha and Floral Wreath
laying ceremony will be held at the Mausoleum of Allama. I.I.Kazi at
8.00 a.m. Quran Khawani will start after Fajar Prayer at the
Mausoleum of Allama. I.I. Kazi.
The program will be arranged by the Purchase & Stores Officer,
University of Sindh
Hon'ble Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, Vice-Chancellor, University of Sindh,
will be present throughout
the ceremony.

A Declamation Contest on the life and
works of Allama I,I. Kazi will be arranged at the Institute of
Business Administration, University of Sindh, Jamshoro by Prof. Dr.
Anwar Ali Shah G. Syed, Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Business
Administration, University of Sindh.
Hon'ble Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, will preside over the occasion.

FOUNDER'S BOOK FAIR will be
held at the Allama I.I.Kazi Central Library, University of Sindh,
Jamshoro, from 13th to 16th April, 2009 (from 08.30 a.m. to 1.30
p.m.). Hon'able Mazharul Haq Siddiqui will inaugurate the Book
Fair. The programme will be arranged by Prof. Dr. Rafia A. Sheikh,
Pro-Vice-Chancellor, University of Sindh.
The inauguration will be done at 9:00 a.m. on 13th April, 2009.

A seminar on the Death Anniversary of
Allama I.I. Kazi, will be arranged by Prof. Dr. Sanaullah Bhutto,
Dean, Faculty of Islamic Studies. University of Sindh, at the Shaikh
Ayaz Auditorium, Arts Faculty Building, University of Sindh. The
seminar will be addressed by two main speakers along with other
scholars.
Dr. N.A. Baloch (Emeritus Professor, University of Sindh) will be the
Chief Guest.
Hon'ble Mazharul Haq Siddiqui will
preside over the occasion.

A Student Speech and Quiz Competition of
the Students of Dr. N.A. Baloch Model School, Elsa Kazi Campus,
University of Sindh, Hyderabad and Syed Panah Ali Shah Model School,
Allama I.I. Kazi Campus, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, will be held
at Dr. N.A. Baloch Model School, Elsa Kazi Campus, Hyderabad, at
9.00 a.m.
Prof. Dr. Parveen Munshi, Dean, Faculty of Education, University of
Sindh, Hyderabad, will
preside over the occasion.
