The controller of Examinations, University of Sindh postponement of college side examination papers.
Thursday, February 18th, 2010The controller of Examinations University of Sindh has announced on Wednesday the postponement of college side examination papers of B.A, B.Sc and B.Com Pass Part-II which were schedule to be conducted on February, 19 and February 27 and notified that same papers will be conducted on March, 4 and March, 05 respectively.
Semester system in post graduate degree colleges
Tuesday, August 25th, 2009August 24: Semester system would be introduced in post graduate degree colleges affiliated with the University of Sindh and before starting of session ,all academic activities including admissions, classes and examination would be notified in academic calendar for the information to the students. This was decided in a high level meeting of representatives of the affiliated degree colleges and University administration, constituted to discuss matters regarding affiliated degree colleges on Monday. The meeting was presided over by Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Mr. Mazharul Haq Siddiqui while Ali Asghar Baloch Regional Director of Colleges Education Hyderabad, Abdul Aziz Panhwar Regional Director of Colleges Mirpurkhas, Prof. Liaquat Aziz, Registrar of the University Mr. M.Saleh Rajar, Controller of Examination Dr. Parvez Pathan and Inspector of College Dr. Imdad Ali Brohi attended the meeting.

The meeting has decided that five post graduate degree colleges at initial stage would be selected from Hyderabad to introduce semester system in post graduate classes and a proposal in this connection would be submitted to the Academic Council through Board of Studies for its approval. The meeting also discussed the remuneration to college teachers and release of 25% fees to the college teachers from the registration fee for B.A and M.A. The meeting also agreed that on shortage of any document required for the registration in the college as well as with examination forms would not be accepted.
