The Incharge Director Institute of Art and Design University of Sindh has announced on Thursday that aptitude test of the candidates for admissions to 4 disciplines i.e Fine Art, Communication Design, Textile Design and Art History will be conducted on November,29 at 9.00.
The candidates who already appeared in pre entry test for admissions to Bachelors degree program 2014 only are eligible to appear in aptitude test.
The aptitude test will be conducted at the building of the Institute of Art and Design and test material will also be provided to the candidates. The candidates are hereby advised to bring with them copy of their CNIC.

The Director Admissions University of Sindh Mr. Akhtar Ahmed Memon has extended last date up-to November,29,2013 for submission of admissions fee by candidates selected for admissions to different disciplines of Masters degree program under first merit list for academic session 2014.
According to notification, the candidates who have also selected for admissions at Sindh University’s campuses i.e Badin, Dadu, Thatta, Larkana and Bhitshah under Masters degree program 2014 are also allowed to deposit their admission fee up to November,29,2013.
The candidates have been selected in quota oriented disciplines are hereby advised to bring their original domicile and PRC and also a set of photocopies of same to show at the time of receiving Bank challan of admission fees. The original domicile and PRC would be returned at the same time to the candidates after verification.

The University of Sindh is holding its academic convocation 2012 on December,21,2013 to confer degrees and medals to its graduates, post graduates, M.Phil and Ph.D holder candidates.
The University authority has nominated Prof. Dr. Imdad Ali Ismaili Pro Vice Chancellor Sindh University Campus Mirpurkhas as Secretary Academic Convocation 2012 while Mr. Muhammad Mashooq Siddiqui Additional Registrar as Coordinator of Convocation Cell.
The academic Convocation will be arranged at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Convention Center at Allama I.I.Kazi Campus Jamshoro. The University graduates who have passed annual examination from its affiliated colleges as well as semester examinations from teaching institutes and departments upto 2012 are eligable to submit applications and fees for the award of degrees and medals.
Last date has been fixed as December, 05,2013 for submission of applications and prescribed fee of the convocation in shape of bank challan, bank draft or pay order by the candidates.
The University administration has appointed different arrangements committees headed by Senior Faculty as its conveners for making arrangements for successful and impressive academic event.
The Controller of examinations University of Sindh has also issued a notification regarding extension of date upto December,05 for submission of applications and convocation fees by the candidates.
According to notification those candidates who have already received their degrees and wish to be conferred the same at the academic Convocation 2012, may return their degrees along with copy of bank challan/pay order / demand draft of fee Rs.1500/ as convocation fees.
It is also notified further that the college side candidates who have already deposited their degree fee with examination form and wish to receive their degrees in convocation are advised to pay Rs.2000/- as convocation fee through bank challan or pay order/ demand draft.

The Controller of Examinations ( Semester/Annual) University of Sindh has announced here on Wednesday that the date has been extended uoto December,05 for submission of applications and payment of fees by the candidates to receive their degrees/medals in academic convocation 2012.
Sindh University Academic Convocation 2012 is scheduled to be held on December,21, 2013 while the candidates who passed their annual examinations ( college Side) and semester examinations up to academic year 2012 may apply for award of degrees/medals through application along with copy of paidup fee challan/ pay order/demand draft of prescribed fee.
The candidates who have already received their degrees and wish to be conferred the same at the Academic Convocation 2012 may deposit their degrees in Office of the Controller of Examinations along with prescribed fees challan of Rs.1500/-.
The college side candidates who have already deposited their degree fees with examination fees can apply for conferring degrees in convocation and deposit fee challan of Rs.2000/- only.

The University of Sindh will hold its academic Convocation 2012 on December,21,2013 at University’s newly constructed Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Convention Center at Allama I.I.Kazi Campus Jamshoro.
In this connection a meeting of organizing committee was convened at Senate Hall of the University here on Wednesday, was attended by the Conveners and members of various arrangements committees. The meeting was presided over by Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Nazir Ahmed Mughal who emphasized upon the conveners of the arrangements committees to make sure all arrangments within timeframe so that the academic event can be held in a impressive and attractive manners. He also invited the graduates of the University to participate in the convocation to receive their degrees and medals and to make it an a memorable convocation in their University life.
The Vice Chancellor also invited Principals of the affiliated colleges of the University to ensure the participation of maximum number of their graduates in academic convocation.Metting-1
The meeting also discussed the various aspects of the arrangements made by the various committees in connection with academic convocation.
Dr. Imdad Ali Ismaili Secretary of Academic Convocation 2012 also briefed the meeting about various arrangements.
The meeting was also attended by the Pro Vice Chancellors of various Campuses, Deans of the various Faculties as well as Conveners of different arrangements committees.

In order to promote the extra curricular activities and facilitate the students, the University of Sindh has decided to setup a separate Directorate of Extra curricular activities at the main campus of the University.
The decision in this connection was taken in a high level meeting convened here on Tuesday which was presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr. Nazir Ahmed Mughal while Deans of the various Faculties , Provosts of the Boys and Girls Hostels, Dean Students Affairs and representatives of Police, Rangers and Sindh University Security attended the meeting.meetig
The meeting decided that a separate directorate of the extra curricular activities would be established to organize and facilitate the students for organising extra co curricular activities programs including sports and music events to make busy to the students. A four member committee headed by Dean Students affairs would supervise the events and functions of the Directorate. The Directorate would organize different events to built healthy environment at the campus and promote skills of the students.
The meeting also discussed the law and order situation at the campus and decided to deploy security at the main gate of hostel and main enterances of the campus to pay vigilance check on vehicles. The meeting also decided to take efforts of better vehicles parking at the Allama I.I.Kazi Chock and in front of building of the Administration building of the University.
The meeting in connection with study tour and picnic of students also decided to develop proforma to be signed by the students and head of departments and teacher to be accompanied to students during the picnic or study tour. The proforma would be submitted by students at least two week before so that the administration can make proper arrangements.
The meeting also decided that after the semester examinations all arrangements will be made for white wash and necessary renovations and from new year the arrangements would be made for hostel re-allotment. It was also decided that from the next years Wardens in the hostel would be deputed from the administration side.
The meeting was attended by the Deans of various Faculties Dr.Abida Tahrani Dr. Abdullah Dayo, Dr. Parveen Munshi, Dr. Javed Iqbal, Dr. Abdul Rasool Abassi, Dr. Asad Shaikh, Dr. Imdadullah Brohi, Dr. Afsheen Shah, Registrar Ghulam Muhammad Bhutto and representatives of Rangers, Police and Sindh University Security.

The Provost Boys Hostels University of Sindh has announced for the information of already Hostel residing students of 2013 of the University to submit hostel allotment forms for renewal of hostel allotment for the year of 2014. According to a notification issued on Monday, the Provost of Boys Hostels has announced further that the Hostel allotment forms can be had by the boys students from HBL Jamshoro and Old Campus Hyderabad branches on the prescribed form fee. The last date for the submission of hostel allotment forms duly signed by the concerned Chairpersons/Directors of the Departments and Institutes will be December,06,2013.
The concerned students are hereby advised to deposit the hostel allotment forms accompanied photocopies of previous hostel card, student card, paid copy of challan of previous hostel fee , two copies of CNIC and four recent photographs.

According to announcement the examination section has announced result of B.B.A ( Hons) Part-I and Part-II, B.B.A ( Pass) Part-I and Part-II, M.B.A( Previous) and M.B.A ( Pass) Final and B.C.I.T Part-I, Part-II and Part-III.

The Registrar University of Sindh has notified on Monday that Academic Convocation 2012 of the University of Sindh is scheduled to be held on December 21,2013 at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Convention Center of the University of Sindh. He has further notified that the University has appointed Mr. Muhammad Mashooq Siddiqui Additional Registrar as Coordinator of the Academic Convocation 2012 cell.
