Acting Vice Chancellor University of Sindh, Dr. Parveen Shah in a meeting with security staff announced that posts of security guards in the University of Sindh would be upgraded and security allowance for the security guards of the University will also be increased.

This was stated by acting Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Dr. Parveen Shah in a meeting with security staff which was convened to discuss law and order situation, steps towards further improvement and to get fed back of their problems.
Dr. Parveen Shah while speaking on the occasion said that the University had planned to appoint private security at the campus but realizing unrest among own security staff of the University on the issue, the matter regarding appointment of private security at the campus has been postponed. Dr. Shah said that all possible facilities would be made available to the University’s own security and hoped that they would deliver duties in a good way to improve the law and order. She promised that posts of Security Guards while allowing them next grades will be upgraded and increase in security allowance will be considered positively. She pointed out that a committee has been already formulated for the appointment o suitable persons as a security guards in the University and also to check eligibility and fitness.
Director Campus Security Ghulam Nabi Kaka on this occasion highlighted facilities made available to facilitate the security guards in performing of their duties and also problems face by the security staff.
