The Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Praveen Shah accompanied to Registrar Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro and other officials paid a visit to the Boys hostels.
The Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Praveen Shah accompanied to Registrar Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro and other officials paid a visit to the Boys hostels on Thursday to inspect the repair work and other facilities provided at the hostels. Dr. Parveen Shah visited dinning halls, TV halls, canteens and inspected the color work and checked the furniture in the hostels. She also inspected Tv halls to inspect the installation of new LCD TV’s as provided by the University administration in all boys hostels. The Pro Vice Chancellor also inspected freedom walls as allocated in front of the boys hostels. Dr. Shah on this occasion addressed the employees working in boys hostels and appreciated their services. Dr. Kalhoro while speaking on this occasion said that University has been respecting services of lower employees. He said that under the technical scheme the employees will be promoted and added that University has given priority in jobs to the sons and daughters of those employees who expired during service. Hostel provost Prof. Ghulam Ali Jareko briefed the Pro Vice Chancellor about renovation work at the hostels. In light of resolutions of All Parties Conference and code of conduct finalized by the Monitoring committee, the University has extended many facilities including replacement of old furniture and tv sets at hostels and internet facility for hosteler students at the Center for Pure and Applied Geology in evening time. The University academic activities will start from August, 01 after completion of summer vacation.
