The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Prof.Dr.Nazir A.Mughal has directed University officers to work hard for the development of the University. He was addressing officers of the University on Monday on occasion of handing over of promotion orders to officers who have received promotions in next higher grades. Prof.Dr.Parveen Shah Pro Vice Chancellor Sindh University, Dr.Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro Registrar and other officers were also present.
The Vice Chancellor congratulated officers and expressed hope that they will serve the University with more dedicated efforts. The Vice Chancellor handed over promotion orders to eight officers of the University. One officer of BPS-17 Qurban Mughal has received promotion
order for BPS-18 while seven Superintendents of BPS-16 which includes Abdul Qadir Buledi, Khadim Hussain Larik, Sanaullah Lashari, Muhammad Ali Khowaja, Ziauddin Pathan, Rafik Ahmed Solangi and Chander Bhan Bhatia received promotion orders for their promotion in BPS-17. The officers promoted in higher grades speaking on this occasion expressed thanks to the Vice Chancellor and assured for service to University with diligently.

The University of Sindh has conducted pre entry test for admissions to M.Phil program in disciplines of Business Administration, Microbiology, Physiology and Pharmacology here on Sunday. Total 121 candidates submitted their admission forms for the test while 116 candidates appeared in the pre entry test. Out of 121 candidates,   71 candidates submitted admissions forms for M.Phil in Business Administration, 21 candidates submitted their admissions forms for Microbiology, 18 candidates for Physiology and 11 candidates for Pharmacology. The pre entry test was conducted by Sindh University Testing Center at University’s senate hall and test was monitored by the Deans of the Faculties concerned  Prof.Dr.Anwar Ali Shah, Dr.Abdulah Dayo and Director Dr.M.A Kazi Institute of Chemistry Dr.Abdul Shakoor Qureshi. The Registrar of the University Dr.Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Director Graduates Studies Dr.Muhammad Raees Ahmed and Director Testing Center Dr.Muhammad Suleman Shaikh supervised the test arrangements. The test paper was comprises of 100 MCQ type questions for one and half hour which was answered by candidates on OMR answer sheet. Before starting of pre entry test the admit cards of candidates were checked while for the test 4 blocks were set up. The interview of qualifying candidates in the disciplines of Business Administration, Microbiology and Physiology will be conducted on Monday at 12.30 noon at offices of Deans concerned. The interview of qualifying candidates for Pharmacology will be conducted on Friday at office of the Dean concerned.

Pre entry test for admissions to M.Phil program in different disciplines would be conducted on Sunday March, 13 at 10.am at Senate Hall located at Administration building Allama I.I.Kazi Campus Jamshoro. The concerned candidates are hereby advised to report at about 9.am while
a point bus will ply at 8.30 am from Old Campus Hyderabad for Jamshoro.
