Students of Baluchistan visits Sindhology, University of Sindh.

A delegation 57 male and female students from Universities and Colleges of Balochistan visited University of Sindh under Inter Provincial Youth Exchange Program on Tuesday. The Government of Sindh has initiated Inter Provincial Youth Exchange Program to develop academic liaison between students of different Universities and colleges and provide opportunity of meetings and exchange of academic views. The students delegation who is visiting province of Sindh for 6-day when reached at the campus was warmly welcomed by Dean Faculty of Art Dr. Muhammad Qasim Bughio ,faculty members, students and officials. The students delegation which was led by Muhammad Afzal Sulheri while Director Youth Affairs Sindh Khurshid Ali Shaikh was accompanied to delegation. Students visited Library, Museum, Galleries, Prominent Personalities Corners, Benazir Bhutto Gallery, Music Gallery and others sections of the Institute of Sindhology. The students also visited various teaching institutes and departments which includes Institute of English Language and Literature, Institute of Art and Design and Foreign Faculty Hostel. A presentation was arranged by Bureau of STAGS at Institute of Art and Design and overall academic programs, University’s history, degree programs offered by the University, facilities, number of students,
faculty and institutes and departments were highlighted in the presentation.
Dr. Bughio speaking on this occasion welcomed the students delegation and said that this University has promoted unity and freedom of expression among students and faculty members. He said that Universities are key part of the society to play role in development youth. He said that students must learn more languages for learning and exchange of views and creation of understanding.
Mr. Khurshid Ali Shaikh Director Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh informed that Inter Provincial Youth Exchange Program launched by Government of Sindh aiming to develop understanding, academic learning, create awareness and brotherhood among the people. He said that Chief Minister Sindh has approved Rs.5 Million for inviting students from other provinces in Sindh under Inter Provincial Youth Exchange program. He added that a delegation of students from Sindh already had visited Punjab.
